- Pottery Data: Information you enter about your pottery projects, including names, descriptions, dimensions, materials, glazes, and notes.
- Photos: Images you capture or upload of your pottery pieces.

- Device Information: We collect a unique device identifier to support offline functionality and data synchronization.
- Error Reports: If the app crashes, we collect diagnostic information to help us fix issues. This data is anonymized and does not include your personal pottery data.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Terranote service
- Sync your pottery data across your devices
- Back up your data securely to the cloud
- Improve app performance and fix bugs

- Supabase: Cloud database and authentication (hosted in secure data centers)
- Supabase Storage: Photo storage with encrypted connections
- Google Cloud Storage: Encrypted backups for disaster recovery
- Local Device Storage: Your data is also stored locally on your device for offline access
All data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols. Backups are encrypted at rest.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Sign-In: For authentication (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)
- Apple Sign-In: For authentication (subject to Apple's Privacy Policy)
- Sentry: For error monitoring and crash reporting (anonymized data only)
Legal Basis for Processing

- Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the Terranote service you've requested (storing your pottery data, syncing across devices).
- Legitimate Interests: Processing for app improvement and error monitoring, where our interests don't override your privacy rights.

International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers (Supabase, Google Cloud) maintain servers. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
